Dynamo to prise away Kravchenko
He will join FC Dynamo Kyiv on a five-year contract in January
Ukraine midfielder Serhiy Kravchenko will join FC Dynamo Kyiv on a five-year contract in January, or sooner if the UEFA Champions League challengers can persuade FC Vorskla Poltava to release the 25-year-old before he becomes a free agent in the winter, according to UEFA.Kravchenko has developed into a key player at Vorskla over the last couple of campaigns, taking his tally of top-flight appearances to 65 and earning two caps for his country. "Dynamo are a great team. I think every player born in Ukraine dreams of playing for a club of Dynamo`s calibre," said Kravchenko, adding of his status at Vorskla: "It`s not common [to cancel a contract prematurely] but these things do happen once in a lifetime. Time will tell whether it`s the right move but at the moment I`m just happy to become a Dynamo player." Having finished runners-up to FC Shakhtar Donetsk last term, the Kiev club enter the UEFA Champions League this week, taking on Irish side Drogheda United FC in the second qualifying round.
