Chelsea defender joins Ukrainian club
23-year old Brazilian first arrived in Europe in 2003
Chelsea`s 23-year old Brazilian rear-guard, Alcides first arrived in Europe in 2003, from Brazilian side Vitoria, playing a handful of games for Schalke, before eventually joining the West London club, according to Goal.com.
The Stamford Bridge side, however, seem keen on shipping Alcides out on loan. Perhaps they view the Sao-Paulo born defender as having a better chance of first team football at clubs such as Benfica, then PSV, and now Ukrainian side; Dnjepr Dnepropetrovsk.
He is expected to return to London at the end of the year.
