President Victor Yushchenko met today with the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk, according to the President`s press-office.
During the meeting sides have focused on discussing preparation to hosting EURO 2012 Championship finals in Ukraine and Poland.
President Yushchenko informed Prime Minister Tusk about Ukraine`s preparation to the event and said that all the works currently meet the schedule. He also expressed hope that UEFA Council would make a positive decision on further preparation of Ukraine and Poland to EURO 2012.
Separately President of Ukraine and Prime Minister of Poland discussed improvement of local boarder movement between the states.
President Yushchenko also expressed gratitude to the Polish side for helping Ukraine in dealing with consequences of the floods in the western part of Ukraine.
