Tottenham face an uphill battle to qualify for the last 16 of the UEFA Cup after a makeshift side conceded two late goals to lose 2-0 to Shakhtar Donetsk in sub-zero temperatures at the RSC Olympiyskiy stadium, SoccerNet reported.

Redknapp said: ``I felt if we could stay in the game for 60-70 minutes we could push on for the last 15 or so.
``I couldn`t see them scoring and thought they had run out of ideas but we gave a silly free-kick away and were punished. That`s how it goes.
``It won`t be easy now - the game is a couple of days before a cup final at Wembley against Manchester United.
``What sort of team am I going to put out? It`s going to be a very young team but if they come in like (Dean) Parrett tonight it`ll be a good experience.
``We`ll have a good go but they are a seasoned Champions League team. I felt we contained them easily tonight but to pull a two-goal deficit back isn`t going to be easy.``
Dawson said: ``I thought we did well in the first half and for the first half-hour of the second half - but what happened at the end has cost us.
``We knew coming to a place like this they would have a lot of the ball but we`re disappointed. It`s going to be an uphill task - but we still believe we can do it.``
