Inter captain Javier Zanetti is expecting a tough round of fixtures as he underlines the importance of beating Genoa on Saturday, and then Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday in the Champions League, according to Goal.com.

Zanetti is backing his side, but he has warned against the pitfalls they face. The captain has also asked the Nerazzurri faithful to show their support.

"We have two difficult games both in the league against Genoa, and then in Europe against Dynamo Kiev," Zanetti told Inter Channel.

"We know that playing against Genoa in front of their own fans is never easy, but we have to win to maintain first place."

The Nerazzurri need points in the Champions League following two draws in as many games. Zanetti believes the fans may help in the Beneamata`s quest for glory.

"We have a fundamental game in Europe and we have to win. I am sure our fans will help us do that and we expect to see them at the Giuseppe Meazza," concluded the captain.
