Tymoshchuk Considers Leaving Bayern Munich
The holding midfielder...
The Ukrainian international is far from happy with his situation at Bayern and could decide to move on in January, according to Goal.com.
Bayern Munich midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk has hinted his stay at the Bundesliga club may not last very long. The Ukraine international is unhappy with his current situation with the Bavarians.
The holding midfielder arrived in the summer from Zenit St Petersburg, but he has been unable to hold down a regular place in the side or play in his favourite position under coach Louis van Gaal.
"If this situation does not change over a long period, then there is no avoiding the issue, which I have never had to deal with in my career before," Tymoshchuk said to Bild. "I am used to always reaching the goals I set myself on the field."
"There were offers before I joined Bayern but I chose this club because I wanted to fulfil my highest ambitions. There are people interested now, even though I am not playing in my usual position."
Tymoschuk has made 13 appearances for Bayern this season, but has mainly been utilised as a right-sided midfielder instead of in his preferred holding midfield position.
