Ukraine manager Myron Markevych named the 24-men squad called out for the first training camp to kick off on May 17 in Kharkiv, according to FFU inform service.

 The most experienced players Andriy Shevchenko, Anatoliy Tymoschuk and Andriy Voronin will go on to feature in National A team. Long-serving goalkeeper Oleksandr Shovkovskiy will be called out further though missing the upcoming training camp. The same goes for FC Dynamo Kyiv halfback Oleg Gusiev who was not opted due to the injury.

 The list of candidates also features five new names with four playing in domestic league. These are FC Metalurh Zaporizhia defender Volodymyr Polioviy and FC Karpaty defender Igor Oschypko, halfbacks -  FC Metalist’s Denis Oliynyk and FC Dnipro’s  Yevgen Konoplianka. The fifth fresh - Oleksandr Yakovenko - currently playing for Belgian KVC Westerlo.

 After the end of the league games the blue-yellows will play three friendly matches: against Lithuania on May 25 in Kharkiv, against Romania on May 29 in Lviv and against Norway on June 2 in Oslo.
