The Lviv-based stadium Arena Lviv ranks in eighth place among the 27 stadiums which were unveiled in 2011. The appropriate competition, «Stadium-2011» was held from 11 January to 11 February by the popular Polish internet portal stadiony.net, according to Information Centre Ukraine-2012.

The list includes sites with a capacity of at least 10,000 seats which have been built "from scratch", opened in 2011 and which have held at least one mass event.

Some 11,859 people participated in the survey! Ukraine’s Arena Lviv collected 8,200 votes from respondents and so took eighth place between Juventus Arena (9,517 points) and the Istanbul stadium Galatasaray (6,448). But the stadium Chernomorets took thirteenth place with 4,728 points.

It is no surprise that in the competition, which was organized by a Polish site, prizes were taken by football stadiums from this very country. First place, with a huge margin, was taken by the Amber arena in Gdansk, which got 32,120 points. Silver went to the Euro Stadium in Wroclaw (20,875 points) and bronze went to the stadium of the Warsaw Legia club (19,443 points).
