Ukraine expects up to 1.4 million tourists to come to Euro-2012

The State Tourism and Resorts Agency expects from between 800,000 and 1.4 million people to visit Ukraine during Euro-2012, the head of the government agency, Olena Shapovalova, has said, according to Information Centre Ukraine-2012.
“According to the information provided by Mr Lubkivskyi (Euro-2012 Ukraine LOC director – editorial note), and this is information about ticket sales, between 800,000 and 1.4 million tourists are expected to visit our country,” Ukrainian News quotes Olena Shapovalova as saying.
Meanwhile, she has noted that it is necessary to do everything for making the tourists who will come to Ukraine during Euro-2012 visit the country again.
