In the space of 1.5-2 years of preparations Ukraine has shown a unique pace of construction, which no other country has attained in such a period, according to Information Centre Ukraine-2012. This was announced by the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov, whilst speaking at the Polish-Ukrainian intergovernmental committee on preparations for Euro-2012.

"During that time, four modern airports and 2 stadiums were built. The beginning of use of the NSC Olympic has become an answer to all those skeptics who argued that there would be no demand for the facilities being built for the Euro. A striking example of this was the last match at the NSC – the 22nd match of the championship between Dynamo Kyiv and Dnipro, which gathered 68,000 football fans" the Vice Prime Minister said.

Summing up the results of Ukraine`s preparations for Euro-2012, Borys Kolesnikov noted the high level of readiness of Lviv which, according to the official, has not left any areas of risk for the European Championship. "The Arena Lviv Stadium is in use. Some small works remain to be done at the stadium which is primarily associated with preparing the media centre", summed up the Euro-2012 functionary.
