President Victor Yushchenko on Thursday urged Israeli business leaders to invest in Euro 2012 infrastructure development projects, according to the President`s press-office.

He said Ukraine should build or renew 5,000 kilometers of roads, which will cost up to UAH 54 billion, and open 100 hotels and 8 stadiums to be ready to co-host the soccer championship finals with Poland in 2012. “In this context, we are very interested in the presence of Israeli business in Ukraine,” he said and added that he had discussed investment issues with Israel’s leaders yesterday.
