Dynamo Kyiv has been crowned Channel One Cup champion in Tel Aviv for the first time. The Ukrainian football league champions beat fierce rivals Shakhtar on penalties to claim their first major success under Russian coach, Yuri Syomin, according to Russia Today.

For the first time in the three-year history of the tournament the final featured two Ukrainian clubs.
